TEwT’s 25th YEAR!
From CALL To AI in TESOL
Teaching English with Technology (TEwT) is a double-blind, peer-reviewed journal with a primary focus on the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages).
In the 2025 Scopus CiteScore rankings, TEwT rose to the 98th percentile in Language and Linguistics. Reflecting this standing, the journal applies rigorous editorial and peer-review standards and prioritises high-quality, original, ethically sound, and methodologically robust submissions with clear relevance to AI in TESOL.
Areas of particular interest include AI in ELT/EFL, LLMs in classroom practice, AI-generated writing and detection, academic integrity, ChatGPT/LLM-based assessment and feedback, and teacher readiness and AI collaboration.
TEwT is currently indexed in Scopus, Index Copernicus, ERIH+, Central and Eastern European Online Library, EBSCO, ERIC, CEJSH, BazHum, Cabell’s Publishing Directory, MLA Directory of Periodicals, the Australian Research Council journal list, and the Polish Ministry of Science and Higher Education B list.
TEwT firmly believes that there should be no charges for submitting or publishing articles. All peer-reviewed articles published in TEwT are freely available to readers.
